Unsalted butter 150g / 2/3cup
Sugar 30g / 4Tbsp
Egg yolk 3
Flour 140g / 1cup
Salt 1/8tsp
Fresh milk 40ml
Vanilla extract 1/2tsp
Egg whites 3
Lemon juice 1tsp
Sugar 70g / 9Tbsp

Pan Size 15x7cm

Bake at 160°C / 320°F for 55-60 minutes

Hi friends, you can choose all purpose flour or cake flour to make cake. If you choose cake flour to make this cake, the texture of the cake will be relatively denser. Cake flour is more delicate than all purpose flour, can try to make, for every 1 cup of all purpose flour remove 2 Tbsp of flour, and replace 2 Tbsp of that with cornstarch.
This recipe no need baking powder, the whipped egg whites would be the leavening agent.
