From personal experience, and from all the articles I’ve read regarding the health of coffee, it boils down to this: as with nearly any and all foods, EXCESSIVE use is/can be problematic, while moderate use often has direct health benefits. Whether it’s carbs, fats, coffee, alcohol, etc etc, excessive use generally causes health problems, but responsible use can be beneficial.

All barring individual health concerns.

It's important to understand that the health benefits of coffee are not negated because someone uses cream and sugar. Yea, the cream and sugar bring their own issues. But, it doesn't negate the coffee health itself.

As a frequent visitor to the WH area it is cool to see you at all of the coffee shops that I recognize. It is a little further away in Tarzana but I was wishing you included Peet’s coffee. I think it is better than the burnt flavor from Starbucks. I’m more of a green tea drinker than coffee but will try to consume more coffee due to health benefits rather than the taste. I’m in the minority but I feel like everyone out and about with a coffee cup is a hipster 😂.

BTW I was thrown off by the helium voice in your ad. It was a pleasantly humorous.

It affects thyroid. I struggle with this so treat myself to two basic cups of coffee in the morning after eating. Never on empty stomach. Sometimes I have to go decaff altogether.

I've hypersensitive to caffeine so I rarely consume it - but when I do, it _definitely_ feels like a ''Magic Potion'' - not only am I way more alert and focused psychologically, I can definitely feel benefits physiologically beyond ''feeling awake''

There is an overwhelming amount of scientific literature supporting the benefits of coffee - the consensus is indeed that it is *excellent* but as with everything else, it should be consumed with moderation. Caffeine half-life is about 6 hours so if you consume a regular cup of coffee at around 90 mg of caffeine, after 24H you still have around 5mg of caffeine in your body. It takes about 31.5 hours to have under 2 mg of caffeine in the body (from 90 mg)

The more you consume caffeine and ''stacking'' it in your body, the more your body develops more Adenosine Receptors, which in turn leads to you requiring even more caffeine to have the same effect! So in short, to really optimize caffeine's ''energising'' effects, one should never consume more than a serving every 2 days unless they plan on gradually reducing their sensitivity and requiring bigger doses every time for the same effect...

You can cut down on the acidity in coffee(if you are making it yourself) by never boiling the water, but rather bringing it to just hot enough to steep. I never had an acidic cup of coffee when I was in the uk. They seemed to know this trick. The sweet spot is about 140 degrees for the water. Hart to get from a coffee house here in the US though.
