Today, I take another nostalic and historic memory lane road trip to the cemetery. In this episode, I visit the famous gravesite of DYNASTY TV show actor John Forsythe, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Ballard, California. He also starred in the TV shows Bachelor Father and Charlie's Angeles.

I also visit the gravesites of TV broadcaster Ralph Story and Andy Warhol Superstar, actress and the "Girl of 1965" Edie Sedgwick, who are also buried in this cemetery in Santa Barbara county, California.

Thanks for joining me on my travels on yet another trip to the past, down memory lane.

As a little girl, watched John Forsythe as Bachelor Father and my heart would ache with longing for him to be my dad, some sort of weird childhood crush I had on him (my own dad was fine!).

I grew up in LA and we loved Ralph Story’s Los Angeles. My dad and I used to go look at the sites he talked about. How awesome that you visited his grave.
Edie Sedgwick is also a cousin of tv star Kyra Sedgwick. The Sedgwick family have a famous cemetery plot in CT (I think) where they’re buried in a circle so on the Resurrection Day they’ll see each other when they sit up!
Thanks for the update on your Mom, Steve.

I have often wanted to ask how your Mom was but didn't want to pry. She is often in my thoughts so thank you for the update.

I remember John Forsyth in Dynasty and watched it. He was also in the Western Escape from Fort Bravo with William Holden. Good actor. Just wondering if you ever heard of Falcon Crest? Used to watch that series too. Love to your mom and Happy Thanksgiving to both of you.

Wow. Edie. My heart kind of just stopped when I saw that. I was a Warhol freak when I was young, and just poor poor Edie. Depressingly tragic story.

Hi Steve! I was a die hard John Forsythe fan and remember how handsome he was and a great actor! The sign was funny and you did a great job as usual! I was not familiar with all, but your tributes are so full of information about each person that you do get to know them! So glad that your mom is doing okay and has you and your brother there for her! Bless you and your family! Stay safe!

Hi Steve. How are you? Haven’t commented for a while but always watching. Busy looking after my Mum who is 98 in a Nursing home. I was happy to see the grave of John Forsythe. I named my son Blake after watching Dynasty(John played Blake Carrington) in the hospital while waiting for him to arrive which took a few days. Also remember him from Charlie’s Angels. Thank you. Wishing your Mum, you and your family the best. Take care❤️🤗🙏🏼💕

Brother Tim here....I had to do it. Thanks for the update on your mom. Your family is in our prayers. It's a strange feeling to find out that famous people are buried close to or in the same place as a family member or friend. Another fine job Brother Steve.
