OK, my husband thinks it's creepy, but I adore this channel. If anyone wants a crash course on Hollywood and historic figures from literature, politics, etc. this is the place.

Thanks for all the videos. Many of the stars of days gone by should be remembered for the joy they gave us.

George C Scott did play a wonderful Scrooge, no question. But the absolute best portrayal of Scrooge was Alastair Sim hands down. I think Sim played Scrooge in the 1950's Christmas Carol rendition.
As to all the Christmas animations I was still young at heart enough to watch them all along with my young daughter. But now in my 70's I don't watch them anymore....sad.
This is a wonderful compilation of everything that is Christmas today. Thank you.
Arthur, we wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year.

Loved this! I have watched the Grinch every year for 55 years now. And, in the 90s, I worked with Thurl Ravenscroft who sang the theme song. He was such a dear man.

I was hoping to see Eartha Kitt. Santa Baby is one of my favorites. She also passed on Christmas Day in 2008.

Alistair Sim played by far the best version of Scrooge I've ever seen. He was absolutely incredible in the roll. So believable. Wonderful actor.

Jane here. I wish they had kept St. Nicolas' day on Dec 6, and turned it into Santa's day with all the fun that comes with him, because sometimes I feel that the birth of the Savior gets forgotten on Christmas.
I agree with you that George C. Scott's Scrooge is the best.
Lionel Barrymore is such an incredible actor. He played that miserable character in "Its a Wonderful Life", and yet played the beloved grampa in "You Can't Take It With You".
For me, Jesus is my bright shining star.
Merry Christmas to you all.
And thanks for another great informative
Video.

Just love the way you take a theme then make it irresistible. You entertain us and educate us so wonderfully at the same time. I remember seeing "White Christmas" with my grandmother. I adored the amazing colours, the wonderful songs and got caught up in the romance.of it all. Whenever I hear Bing Crosby sing, I can picture my gran and me walking hand in hand to the cinema. I loved her dearly, and it's a beautiful reminder of our wonderfully close relationship.
