Jeff Healy was blind from age 1 after he survived his first bout of cancer. The cancer that killed him was a return. He was an excellent guitarist who played on his lap like a lap steel. He was phenomenal. RIP!

Schools across Canada celebrate Terry Fox day in September by having their students run or walk to raise money for cancer. Terry’s story is taught in classrooms all over the country.
