Just got my order yesterday, I'm adding the soft shackles to my Rhino recovery kit. I already have 4 of your D-ring shackles and 2 or 3 of your tree savers. I have an off brand 2" × 20' towing strap and 3 snatch blocks. I plan on replacing the strap with either one of yours or your kinetic rope (can't decide) and adding your shackle hitch.

Just used our new set up today at the FD. Kinetic rope was a game changer. Could not get grip following the blizzard in KC. The kinetic rope saved the day.

They are not stronger. 44, 000lbs is the break strength. There is no factor of safety included in the rating like lifting gear. 44, 000lbs is 20t breaking strength, about the same as a 3 1/4t shackle.

What he doesn’t tell you is the working load of this soft shackle is only 14, 683lbs yes it has a BREAK strength of 44, 000lbs but its actual working load capacity is 14, 683lbs. If you’re doing recovery or just someone who like to help others like myself always go by the working load capacity not the break strength

Gonna need a lifetime warranty for that.

Stop calling it a D-ring that’s not what it’s called, “shackle”

Not a real fan of soft shackles, I think they are best suited for joining straps.

Just ordered the 7/8" kinetic rope kit. Will be delivered tomorrow. I do alot of beach recovery on Amelia Island Florida. Hopefully, everything will be up to par. Can't wait to try everything out. I will definitely be doing a review on my YouTube channel. scottmccook8484
