From ideas to action, the Little Tikes sandbox boat comes together in just 1 afternoon!
this was a super budget build and we kept it on a tight timeline so that we can get out and have some fun!
Basically, all we did was take the boat and pour some foam into it that we bought off of eBay. And drop a motor onto the chassis.

What did you put under it to make the foam stay in place? Mine there is a gap between the inner pool and the outside

If you did it again do you think filling it with the foam actually made it more buoyant? Going to do this to my kids old boat and was debating just bonding the lid to the bottom and spray foaming the holes

Filling an already water tight cavity with foam won't make it float any better. The same amount of water will be displaced whether you had it in there or not.
