One morning, i woke up with a joy and a hunger to know the Lord. I grew up in a christian home and thought i knew the Lord only to realise I never knew Him. I heard about Him and was taught about Him, but I did not believe until He started a work in me.

The treasure is Christ, God himself. Oh What a Joy the Spirit is.

I will share,

I’ve experienced joy a couple years ago while doing mundane house chores

All of a sudden I thought of the cross and how in Christ our sins are as no more

I remember putting the mop away and dancing with joy


I looked ridiculous but no one was watching

I believe that joy came from Him

Joy of my Salvation to me is when I feel the presence of Christ & and the holy gladness of being saved by His Sacrifice for me! It is also pure humbling. There are seasons it is lean & can always trace to what am I feeding on… reading, watching & listening too. Too much of worldly connections are Joy killers because they move me away from Christ who is my JOY! Like Philippians 4:7 The Peace of GOD. Or Psalms 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: “in thy presence is fulness of joy”; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
Praise the LORD I love these studies!
The LORD’s “Butterfly kisses” I call them when I’m expecting to be chastened heavily but His love pours out & breaks me! 🕊♥️🙌🏼🔥

Yes Tim! I have to watch how much I engage with technology because it fills my mind with garbage I have to empty of it to be filled by Christ & the Holy Spirit when I start feeling lean and apart from GOD. Pull down strongholds!

I’ve never once felt joy of salvation. Haven’t felt anything at all. Just self hatred. I despise myself. Who am I to receive anything from God anyways?
