One thing I cannot forget, my hermano, is your most valuable rule (back to when we first met): 2 rowing movements for every single pushing exercise.

This is exactly the comparison I was looking for right now. Thank you.

I 100% agree on you with walking, but was wondering your thoughts on getting about 11 miles on my apple health app per day. I do this through walking and movement. Also doing PH3 right now. Keeping Cals high though to incorporate the expenditure (6ft, 175, pretty lean, about 3700cals per day). So sorry this turned into such a long question, just wanted to give you a little context if you get to answer my question. You're sooo damn motivational, and love your training style, focus, and proper self critiques. Long time subscriber, thanks for all the great content over the years.

I feel the exact same way about walking and the only other cardio I'll do is ride my bike. I find both of those activities very cathartic.

I agree about the cardio. I have a stationary bike that I will pull out and watch tv while riding if the weather is not nice but if it is nice out I will go out and take my dog for a walk for as long as he wants to go. Back in 2015 I did 2 HIIT sessions a week and found that they seemed to just amplify the draining effect deep in prep.

Always excited to see alberto keeping it real on his prep. Will definitely implement more of this into my cut!

You talked about preserving as much strength & performance as possible while getting leaner. What are your preferred ways of assessing whether you have gotten weaker or by how much you've gotten weaker within the context of a pre-written program? Changes in bar speed with your training weights? Occasional training max attempts? AMRAP testing? The reason I ask is because it is so difficult to manage fatigue while still properly testing your strength levels, especially when getting so lean

How are you splitting up the 10 miles, Berto? Are you doing a little each day (a little over a mile) or are you doing most of it on your off days? Thanks!

Any advice on food cravings and preventing it from going too far? I'm 8 weeks into my semi cut. Thanks Breto for all the informative videos you post. Looking good and good luck too!

You're looking pretty vascular! Good job so far. Maybe you mentioned this earlier, but could you tell me why you weren't locking out on the DB bench? Is it because of the tendinitis you mentioned?
