Disappointing, graceless, thoughtless, boorish behavior on the part of Colbert and his audience.

Oliver Stone: “Israel Had Far More Involvement In The 2016 Elections in the US Than Russia.”

Wow Colbert and his audience have absolutely no class. They hear something they don't like and they shut down the speaker

An absolute train wreck and disgrace of an interview. The least Colbert could have done and as a curtesy was watch a bit more of the film.

I lost all my respect for Colbert and his work after this.

Colbert was incredibly disrespectful towards Mr Stone. When you work on a project like this you must lose any bias and let the work speak for itself. For this I have a great respect for Mr Stone.

"Naturally, the common people don't want war; neither in Russia nor in England, nor in America, not for that matter in Germany. That is understood. The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country." ~ Hermann Goering at the Nuremberg Trials 1946

Colbert was pretentious, not nuanced, and condescending to a man who was obviously more interesting and more intelectual than him. I dislike because of Colbert, not Stone.

Watched the first hour, Stone seemed like he's trying to walk a fine line to keep Putin talking the whole time. He offers him a chance to give his version of the story. I found it very interesting. You can tell that Stone was probably burned out by trying to promote his documentary on these talk shows that have been either trying to push their agenda or catch him slipping so that he can be labeled as an Putin apologist. I don't understand how people are going to expect this guy to denounce or speak bad about Putin. He was just trying to see if he could find out the Russian version of these global issues.

Oliver Stone kept his composure very well. Stephen Colbert was acting childish.

One of the most awkward interviews Stephen has done. Obviously they are not friends.

This interview was very Russiaphobic tbh. Colbert should be more open minded and loving toward other cultures

I've watched all 4 parts of the Oliver Stone and Putin interviews on Showtime. Oliver Stone did a fantastic job. The man was not there to chastize Putin for all the wrong he has done. Oliver Stone is a film maker, not a policeman. His mission was to present Putin as a person to us on a silver platter and for us to judge, that's it. What Colbert and his extremist audience are doing is judging a book by its cover.

as someone who actually watched his documentary the entire documentary Oliver Stone certainly doesn't take the side of Russia or the side of Putin he actually discusses at length in the documentary how Putin took power and it does not paint him in a very good light but I believe that Oliver Stone is being honest when he says that he fully believes that Russia does want to be partners with the US and that he takes that at face value
