This remarkable four-part documentary series provides intimate insight into Putin's personal and professional lives, from his childhood under communism, to his rise to power, his relations with four U.S. presidents, and his surprising takes on U.S.-Russian relations today. He is correct about Snowden, he isn't a traitor, he tried to open people's eyes to the mess in D.C.

I think that no one will survive that conflict.
This gave me chills considering the situation presently.

Listen to the way Putin speaks - he RARELY raises his voice or loses his temper. Instead, he makes very calm, rational, logical arguments. He is an incredibly intelligent man with no time for dramatics (something too many politicians thrive on). He is very eloquent and takes his time to answer questions because he actually has a well thought out response. But I guess many people in the Western hemisphere struggle with respecting someone who demonstrates the unique ability to think beyond what the media tells them to think.

1:34 That is the highlight of this one when we think about the current situation in Ukraine. Putin personally has considered NATO in Ukraine as a threat since 4 years ago.

The Russia/Ukraine NATO question was quite visionary.

NATO Expansion has been an issue for Russia since the 1990's. ...Ukraine became an issue when NATO tried to Annex it in 2014 with the overthrow of the Democraticlly elected Ukraine Government.

1:45 "The threat [of Ukraine joining NATO] consists in the fact that once NATO comes to this or that country, the political leadership of that country as a whole, along with its population, cannot influence the decisions NATO takes."

Best words: Putin: "[In a hot war], I don't think that anyone would survive such a conflict."

The more people watch Putin speak, the more support he gets.

Have watched the interview.
When Stone speaks or asks a question, he, most of the time, looks and his body language is turned toward the translator and not to Pres. Putin.. When Putin speaks he is directed and gives the attention to Stone... I appreciate the professionalism, the etiquette, elegance and the respect, Putin showed during the interview towards his interviewer. Its an example I can follow.

When I ask you 1000 times why you stole my pink fluffy unicorn, neither does it make you the thief of my pink fluffy unicorn nor people will start to believe you actually are. The only thing it does is make me look dumb.

The last statement, while likely true, is terrifying with what is going on in Ukraine at this moment.
