Most vets who returned home from WWII (bloody battered islands in Pacific to the ruined towns of France Italy Holland and Germany Europe) wanted to live their lives peacefully but for guys like David Alfred surviving War meant affairs and becoming richer. Hello from India.

0:06- That's quite a claim, considering how many book movies there are in 1960, and The Story of Ruth was from the Bible.
0:54- Why is it that when I say that, they react as if I'm Peter Laurie sticking them with a meat thermometer?!
2:36- Inviting cameras into the bedroom is kind of his fetish.

It's a way better film than this deranged clip suggests. It's well written and witty, and if you can find a decent transfer, great to look at. The only drawback is Ina Balin.
