Not everyone one will understand. But I can 100% relate. Got laid off get back to home I was at my lowest. The worst part no good vacancy, didn't enjoy leetcode problem solving at all so doing bad in interviews. So I felt like I am in the wrong place no future.
Came back to the drawing board started a company and started freelancing again.
One day I needed to do an AWS architecture for the client and realized I am very good at it and it's very interesting. I was always interested in hardware and networking. I started researching about these certifications and decided I will build my career on this.
Studying for SAA. I want to clear SAA and AZ-104 this year.

Greg, your college classes sound like my crash course college classes from years ago. Too much, too soon, and all at once. Seen college classmates asleep in the hallways on the floor with opened and unopened Mountain Dews next to them. I had to drop out. It was an expen$ive le$$on in my life.

Nowadays, it's "Health before wealth" and "Go slow till you know". ⚖🧠

Thanks for sharing your story! 🙂

I’m going to start my journey. I have given myself 18 months to transition. I have no tech knowledge. I have researched that I need to learn computer networking, understand code (python), Linux, git/github, terraform. Which I will do Udemy courses to help. Then delve into aws material. Is this a good idea? If not what would you recommend?
