i got the gtx 1630 and i love it
i game at 240+ fps on all games on ultra settings
its faster then my 1yo rtx 3090
rtx 3090 only gave me 150 fps on ultra settings

From reviews etc the GTx1630 is more like a 1050(O/C) GPU than a Ti. The 1630 should be about $100USD and remove the supplemental power as it mostly draws about 65watts under load and a little less (52-59w) under most gaming scenarios 🥰👍😇

If the card was 100 dollars cheaper, it would be a decent product. It isn't worth more than 80-120 in my opinion.

Nvidia is evolving backwards, technically technology should be evolving forward and being easily/cheaply available.
-imagine if the smartphone market releases a phone worth $200 and the phone can only play games like temple run in 2022.
They can't because competition in the smartphone market is wild. Nvidia lacks competition, if only we had like 4 companies giving nvidia tough competition, the gpu market would be favoring the customers just like the smartphone market

I bought EVGA 1650 Super for 199$ yesterday. GTX 1630 currently sells on the same EVGA store for same 199$. Just... why? 1650 Super is already kind of questionable in 2022 (I still preferred it to 6500XT though for my older PC and purely 1080p gaming). But what's up with pricing here? 😵‍💫

There are a few models (different from others) that have a niche use case and it is down to the power-connector, but only some people would prioritise that. Plugging it (with adaptor) into an NVMe slot is a way to run it but that slot lacks the wattage, so the power-edge connector lets a PSU pick up the slack. Then the video ports can be desirable combinations. this not only helps some people who take a motherboard-combo around with them, not knowing what monitor screen they might use but also laptop users who jerry-rig external GPU setups that way do not necessarily use the laptop screen and might not know what external monitor they are going to plug into. So instead of the use case being about it being the best price performance it instead can simply be a card that gets a person's computer setup up and running instead of not at all. There are of course some other cards (beyond 1630) that have similar features, but not all cards have that. when new, especially for the motherboard-combo NVMe users, having the new 1630 car and warranty kept their mother-board setup _(which would have a warranty BTW)_ healthy instead mixing an ex-mining and encountering problems.

The is rediculus. It should be 30-50 buck. They are having a laugh. Everone who thinks 100 for this waste of silicon is ok had been conditioned into accepting these rediculus prises.

If you have like $250 just get a 1070 or 1070 ti, will completely destroy the 1630

I don't think the 1630 is ment for gaming its for office computers.personally i would not buy anything under a 6700xt or you will be wasting your money because in a year or two you will need another graphics card.

Non of these company's are your friend they are traded on the stock market they need to show profit for there stock holders period remember that when the price your graphics card its always about money now stop whinning about it and grow up.
