I look at the most powerful low profile graphics card in the world! Which surprisingly is the GDDR 6 version of the Nvidia GTX 1650.

*If you want, please use my Amazon affiliates to buy stuff, they help A TON!*
(Make sure to look for the GDDR 6 version, it is a bit faster but costs the same)

"The 1650 sucks!!!"
*Some time later, everyone tries to buy one because there are no gpu*
1650: "You couldn't live with your own failure. Where did that bring you? Back to me."

I have this card in a tiny desktop with an i5 10400 and it's really surprisingly capable. I did have the high temperature issue you mentioned as well. Was running in the 80s like yours. I tried alot of things to get it to run cooler and ultimately I figured out that the mount for the heatsink just doesn't make good contact with the gpu die due to weak mounting pressure. I pulled the heatsink off and repasted it with fresh thermal paste and then I put some 1mm thick plastic washers on the back side of the board under the screws with the springs. That put more mounting pressure on the heatsink and knocked 10-15 degrees off then of the high temps for this exact card. Hope that helps someone cool this thing off.

Early 2020: don’t buy it, it’s a bad deal at $160
Early 2021: it’s a solid recommendation at $300
Edit: thanks for 1, 000 likes 🙃

Most reviewers only look for performance and price, and forget about different use cases, which makes their reviews irrelevant for real life. We need more reviews like this one!

Everybody keeps complaining saying it's a terrible card but it's still faster than my GTX 670

I don't care about the graphics card. I'm here for Dawid.

I ended up with a GDDR 5 4GB version of the GTX1650 and even now, 2 years after your video, it still performs really well even in more modern games.
I guess with the GPU shortage, it has lasted longer than it may have done previously

It seems like an amazing graphics card to have as of right now during the crisis

Thank you man! Finally someone who does a proper review on it! I have this card and I'm tired of people calling it trash. It's the best in it's category and plays games on 1080p high 60+ fps for a really decent price. Thank you for the honest and genuine review.

My first gaming laptop has this card, I'm enjoying every game I've thrown at it. I didn't know squat about graphics cards, but for my first experience, I'm not complaining, I have 2 HDMI ports, 1 DVI port, and a type-c output only though. I bought a "22 144HZ monitor, I'm loving this little gem. Can't wait until I build myself a gaming rig, now that I have my feet wet.

This is a GREAT option for low budget builds, especially considering that old office PCs with 8GB of RAM can be had for like $20 these days lol

Thank you so much for this content. It is so incredibly reasonable. A true breath of fresh air.

Mainstream tech tubers all make a lot of assumptions about the use case of their viewers. Obviously this is a niche product, but some people have niche use cases. What if I want a very low power rig for the back of a big rig truck because I'm a truck driver? Or maybe I have limited electricity on my sailboat? Or maybe I (more likely) just want a stealthy upgrade for my office PC.
