In the second episode Protest team wakeboarder Sjors van de Kerkhof gives you a step-by-step guide how to take turns.

So check this episode, collect your gear, head to the water, put on that smile and get there!

Instructions:

It's not hard, but remember to look into the direction where you are going!

1. Don't look down
2. Keep your knees bent
3. Make sure your body weight is on both feet
4. Keep control over the handle by pushing it down and keeping your arms slightly bent
5. Look into the direction you want to go to, balance your weight over the edge of the board and make a turn.

Heel-side-edge: lean over your heel
Toe-side-edge: lean over your toes

WARNING!
Wakeboarding is extremely fun and addictive. People around you will notice an everlasting big smile on your face. Your life will contain more pleasure and you will ask yourself why you waited so long before you gave it a try.

It seems that the ease of turns has to do with the lake setup. Im not a veteran wakeboarder but found it difficult to nail the last buoy in the local cable park

Thank you, Sjors (and also for Ricky) for getting deep into the basics of wakeboarding. Please, keep the good work!
I actually watched a lot your tutorial vids this season. These all helped me a lot in my learning curve. I put together a small compilation at the end of my season to show how good my progression went.
So if anyone of your viewers wonders how many training days you need to manage your first obstacles, this is where progression track is after hitting big and small cable parks 40 times:
