Is your CS:GO team always terrible?

Do you constantly have to drag the lifeless corpses of your League of Legends or Valorant teammates over the finish line?

Well, it’s time we got to the bottom of this.

Why does your team always suck? Is it actually their fault? Are you to blame? Or is there someone else entirely making you lose over and over?

My team still makes me lose. I get 20 kills and 4 deaths while my team 3 kills and 15 deaths in call of duty.

its easier to see your teammates mistakes when you are spectating them than to see your own when you are focused on playing yourself

I love fighting games because people can't blame teammates for their losses, and it makes them look like such clowns when they try to come up with any and all excuses for why they lost or how their opponent is playing "unfairly" or something.

You can't play with some idiots in this game. It just can't be done and that's it.

One thing that always happens to me on CS is that I die instantly like I'm playing against a pro but when I spectate my teammates, the opponent is trash and miss every single bullet.

For team shooters like CSGO/CS2, it's not so much that your teammates suck it's that they're inconsistent. The guy who's bottom fragging very well could have carried his previous game. Since inconsistencies are the issue, the solution to be consistent. Consistent practice, consistently playing the same spots, and most importantly getting a consistent group of teammates. Even queuing up with a single other person you know is solid will do wonders. Preferably a consistent 5 stack, but take what you can get.

Another thing to consider is that over the years the average ranked enjoyer has gotten consistently better overtime so our expectations over game knowledge, and mechanics have grown too. Sadly many individuals in the gaming community are now in the adult world and can't allocate as much time to these hobbies anymore but still enjoy them in their free time. When they get on they may have missed a patch or two, maybe even a new character release and are completely lost with the optimal way of playing. Your aim and overall game sense will also deteriorate overtime without a consistent gaming schedule. Then they get flamed by individuals who have the free time to play the game 5+ hours daily, constantly improving at the game.

Honestly in League of legends above all other games its significantly harder to carry bad teammates because if you have a teammate who feeds or doesnt come to a fight the enemy doesnt just win the fight you die and cant farm whilst they can ontop of getting the gold and xp from the kill so they become stronger whilst you dont and then the next fight they have an advantage over you

Also remember, Matchmaking in most game are Rigged in a way to make you addicted to the game in which Dopamine lvl are controlled. Even if you outperform your teamates 80% of the time but lose are on WR of 55% is because it is intended.

Its easier to see your teammates mistakes when you are 17/0 and they are 0/17

Understand how match-making works will completely change the argument to one side or the other.

In higher ranks, the probability of finding a player who strives to do their best is higher. Riot's matchmaking will actually pair you with someone on a losing streak, since you, hypothetically, should be able to carry them.

However, you not only have to play your best, you have to suddenly PLAY BETTER to account for the player who is tiled/raging/just bad. Essentially, you're forced to play much better because of how the system works.

There are so many variables that one short YouTube video couldn't possibly address, especially in a game like league.

Fighting games? YOU'RE either better or not. The variables, and thus what's required of you, drastically shrinks.

So back when I quit league the MMR system had a hidden gambling elements against itself. The TLDR is the MMR system would place bets for or against you and would put players with you based on that bet.If the system thought you were probably higher ranked then you currently are it would start putting players that it thought were boosted and you could simply carry them. The inverse is true. So when I quit back in season 5, there were enough 3rd party systems to tell what the hidden MMR, of all players of your match as well as there current ranks, and see how the system was betting against you. I would have silver ranked games where it thought I was performing at a gold level, but would put players it thought were bronze performing players on my team just to see if I could carry them, even going so far as to add actual high bronze players onto my mid silver teams. And you could see another player on the enemy team is your exact same scenario. So the game then boils down to those how well can those 2 high performing players on each team compensate for the 1-2 underperformed players on their team. Making games a massive team diff at times.

Most matchmakers are inherently broken because they attempt to force 50% winrates. It'd be a lot better if it found x players of the same rank and then randomly assigned them to the teams (if playing solo). But most systems go beyond this. A player who is winning a bit too much will be grouped with the lower end of the bracket in an attempt to "balance" the match. That is inherently rigged.

i have one account in silver and one in platinum, let me tell you this. it is almost impossible to climb out of silver unless you are playing jungle. For me to get out of silver requires lillia jg every game. you have to be able to micromanage all your lanes because you know all your lanes are going to lose before you even load into game.

It sucks how u get the same random shit players on ur team that are always too scared to engage in a fight or even adapt to the game if we constantly being ganked, they still treat is as a normal game... like bro..

This was a really long winded way to say "watch your replays to see if it was you or not and find out where you can improve."

lots of matchmakers try to force a 50% winrate so you overperform it will give you excellent opponents and horrible teammates, its the reason why playing in a full stack is so much easier

I can see my mistakes, i switch when I’m doing bad, but my teammates collectively blame me for existing. But when I ask my other support to heal me or my dps to help me with something, I’m apparently calling the entire team bad. While yes, I do this when none of my teammates aren’t helping me but wouldn’t you?

Esports teams have done studies that reveal most "hardstuck" players are also on the spectrum for mental afflictions.
