==========================================================
Jon Brower Minnoch He was the world’s heaviest person ever recorded. He was born in Bainbridge Island, Washington on September 29, 1941 and died in Seattle on September 10, 1983 when he was about to turn 42 years old.

The maximum weight this man reached was 635 kilograms or 1399 pounds but it’s not a certain data because of his large volume and health problems, it was impossible to use a proper balance to determine his exact weight.

He suffered morbid obesity since childhood. At the age of 12, Minnoch weighed 132 kilograms and by age 22 he weighed 178 kilograms.

In 1978 he got the record for the biggest difference in weight between two spouses when he married his wife Jeannette who had a weight of 55 kg, they had two sons.

Because of his condition he was hospitalized several times and his transfer was extremely difficult. Obviously Jon suffered a lot of health problems.

One occasion while he was hospitalized he underwent a strict diet in which only could consume 1,200 calories per day. With this achievement diet he lost 419 kilograms and left the hospital weighing 216 kilograms. This is the biggest weight loss documented in history.

This was not helpful because 1 year later he doubled his weight and finally he died in 1983 with a weight of 362 kg and a body mass index of 105.3.

The Guinness Book of World Records was for many editions the definitive source of information on the heaviest contemporary men and women. But in recent years, the book that made stars of the McGuire twins has curtailed its annual list. Perhaps the editors simply ran out of space, or perhaps they got disgusted with the increasing exploitation of such individuals by diet centers and TV talk-show hosts. In either case, it seems time for someone else to take up the torch, and Dimensions seems the obvious home for such an enterprise.

Very informative video! Just a suggestion though, maybe the host should have a tone when reading the information and not saying it in a robotic voice. :)

Several things wrong with this video:
1. No answer to the title question
2. Nichomachus of Smyrna is not a real person
3. The voice sucked
4. Generally very uninformative
