Interested in finding out where. Hopefully not all in cities as it is the long trips between cities that they are needed.

Supermarkets and the like would be wise to install a significant number of charges in their parking lots.

We have two EVs an MG and an Imieve (and a backup ICE car that hasn't moved in over 2months).
We took the two cars to an EV exhibition in Toowoomba yesterday. It was a 320km return trip. We had to charge before we left on the way back. We charged at a petrol station.
It was a pitty they didn't have good food so we put one car to charge went to buy some takeaway put the other car to charge and had lunch before heading back. EVs are already good enough. If every petrol station had 2 fast chargers I think that would fix the EV charging problem and they will get some extra business from people waiting for their charge.

Britain gave Australia its language, its parliamentary system of government and its judicial system...it also gave Aussies a predisposition toward whinging and whining!

The Chinese EV's seem to have a side by side CCS Charging Inlet. Does it change to the Over Under model elsewhere?

Well, it seems like despite the spat between Australia and China, Australia will start getting chinese EVS first before North America. I guess Australians should feel lucky in that sense.

Wow. 6, 500 petrol stations and 10, 000 EV charging stations. LFP batteries with 800V architecture allowing for 10 minute charge. Hmmm.

Agree with your far sighted view, when the prices of petrol rises in the future we will see people take up EV in droves. Cheers.Keep up your good work.Enjoy all your videos all the time.

I love using the free charges close to my home, and they are totally free, not the fastest 22kw DC but its free and unlimited and comes from 100% renewable so no complaints from me :-)

I wonder how long it will take to get chargers installed so you can drive from Perth to Adelaide? Or up to Darwin?

We need to have planning laws requiring new dwellings, including flats and apartments, to have charging points to their garages or parking spaces. These are not an unreasonable expense if incorporated in design and building and will add value. We also need to have regional charging venues for long range travellers. These would be in each city or large town and would be large charging parks with staffing to assist EV drivers and ancillary services such as restaurants and rest rooms. These would give EV drivers on long trips security, knowing they could stop at these centres and be assured they could charge their vehicles, with personal assistance if necessary, as well as having ready access to amenities. I think this is more important than having charging points sprinkled willy nilly around the roads. And we must be careful we do not repeat the mistakes of the USA and even the EU where chargers will not work on credit cards but require multiple confusing and unreliable cellphone apps.

Tesla will also build their own Tesla Superchargers network as Tesla cars are sold in Australia….

Yes a lot of whingers here and we also suffer from the tall poppy syndrome in this country too. When something incredible is about to happen some want to tear it down with negativity and false facts, right out blatant lies even before it gets a chance to launch. Even with BYD launching here in October 2021 with the Yuan Plus there a small few who still say its never going to happen.

We always get called winging poms but I have found more winging Aussies than us poms since I have been in Australia. Don't get me wrong I love living in Australia and training people who want to learn.
There is so many who don't and think everyone else has to pay them a living and won't lift a finger to help themselves. End of rant . Keep smiling
