EASY Baked Apples Recipe

These EASY baked apples filled with a sweet, richly-spiced mixture of brown sugar and pecans are a quick and delicious autumnal treat.

If cobbler is apple pie’s less fussy friend then baked apples are their freewheeling easy-going cousin. ULTRA-easy to make with almost no cleanup after and they are DELICIOUS! I love packing mine with crunchy pecans and lots of tasty fall spices.

Hey John, I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your channel. I'm 18, just graduated high school this spring, and I have NEVER EVER had any interest in baking . I can barely make scrambled eggs, but I stumbled across your channel and I decided to try it. You have such a positive, lovely, and just encouraging energy that made me keep watching. I made an apple pie using your recipe, and my god was I miserable, but the next day I just wanted to make another one, and now I sell pies (using your recipes) in my neighborhood and get a lot of requests. It helped me get out of my post-graduation depression, I felt so lost and stuck because everyone is studying medicine, and engineering, or law and I didn't have interest. But thanks to you, I fell in love with the art of baking, and now im thinking about getting an associates in business and taking some decoration classes and. opening up my own little bakery. I add dry oats and a little flour to my sugar mix to make kind of a crumble...

3 ingredients to add: shredded coconut, toffee bits, caramel. Use an apple cider bath.
