These easy baked apples are perfect for fall! #shorts

Apples always feel like fall and this easy baked apples recipe is the perfect dessert!

- 6 large apples, sliced
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp grated nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, cubed

Mix together the apples, cornstarch, maple syrup, honey, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, lemon juice, and salt. Dot the cubed butter all over the top. Cover with foil and place in a preheated 350°F for 45 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake until they’re bubbling and tender throughout, 10-15 minutes.

This is so much easier to stir if it is in a bowl. These would be good on top of pancakes or french toast.

I add mine to cottage cheese after they have chilled. It ends up tasting sort of like apple cheesecake!

Granny apples are the best. I usually fry my apples with butter, sugar, cinnamon and tiny bit nutmeg. Cook until sugar is carmelized. Delicious
