My solution: RUN STEAM AS ADMIN (Or stop running it as admin) AND FIND TWO DAYS WORTH OF MISSING SAVES.

How can I recover my older save? I panicked and tried to overwrite the save onto a couple of different saves and now I have lost my current progress and my last 2/3 previous saves. Can something be done through a local save?

I also faced this issue and i was quiet frustrated.

The main problem is One Drive.

To fix this.
1) Sign in to your one drive (if not sign in)
2) on the sync and backup option click on manage backup
3) Turn off the backup for the document folder( if ypu domt want risk then turn off all)

This will solve the problem.
It will work 100% trust me.
I have tried it after 100+ failed attempt

I have same problem with uncharted legacy of theieves

this did nothing for me try delete your last save its from the main menu after restarting you game that save is corrupted go back one save and try playing from there

None of these helped. What did help however was deleting the latest save as it was detected as corrupt when loading the game, after that I loaded my second latest save (which was now my latest) and I was able to save again as normal.
