I need my ID to shop for food I'm not an American but I visit America many times and this has been one of the stupidest comment I've heard a president ever made. The only times I had to show my ID in America is at custom checkpoint and entering a night club.

Really? Never had to show ID to buy anything. Apparently, Trump has never actually been to a store anytime in his life.

Notice how when Trump made the farcical and asinine claim that you need a picture ID to buy groceries, no one in the crowd behind him even flinched or even batted an eye. I even played it back twice, because I was like surely at least one person should have looked perplexed at what Trump just said, but NOPE. They all just sat there with that Branch Davidian / Jones Town look in their eyes.
