Mum tries out Windows 7 (2009)

Diana only just lost her attachment to xp for windows vista yet she's already lost her attachment to windows vista with windows 7. This video differs greatly from our other videos however (don't worry we will go back to our previous format from now on) due to the fact that it only took 2 minutes (we timed it) to complete the tasks.

In this video I mostly show her the features of windows 7 and we talk about microsoft operating systems in general. If she didn't like windows 7 I would not have gone into all this detail. Unless we find another operating system she likes we will stick to our old/orignal "do the tasks with minimal help" format.

Tasks Given:
- What time is it?
- Write, save and open a text document
- What is 36x32
- Change the desktop background
- Turn off your computer

The mother in this video only ever uses Windows XP running with the classic win95 theme. Would you like to see her try out other operating systems such as mac, linux and old operating systems through history? Then give your suggestions in the comments section.

This channel is dedicated to me "introducing" people (mum, dad, me) to different operating systems they have never used before and leaving them to suffer in confusion struggling to do anything in an unknown computer environment... or see if these other operating systems are better than Microsoft Windows.

I showed her stuff at the end of the videos because she had already completed the tasks and liked the operating system. Since she currently uses xp windows 7 would be a good upgrade choice since she could stick with windows and be much more up to date in what operating system she uses.

Windows 8 was the first OS I recorded her trying. Infact this channels inspiration started off with "Diana hates windows 8 and will never upgrade from windows xp. Can we find an alternative for Diana so she can update from xp without moving to windows 8?" This lead us to ubuntu which she liked more than windows 8 but since she said "windows 8 seems like its the first version of windows and every version has been an improvement on it" I got her to try windows 1.01... Then we kept doing more OS's.

The Operating System tested in the video was Windows 7 Ultimate and the Operating System that I use is Windows 7 Professional.
