You gotta appreciate the ingenuity of the ReAnimen. They first try blunt trauma by just wailing on Omni-Man, and when that doesn’t work, they try to tear or pierce his skin or even break his neck like Omni-Man did to one of them.

At one point they even go back to beating on him because it had the most promise, since they were at least able to keep him on the ground and unable to fight back for a moment.

Not to mention the cape-around-the-head trick was simply pretty clever.

The VA for Cecil does a great job.
You never get the idea that he expects to win, he just wants to keep things going as long as he has to and isn't afraid to use every resource he can including lying, stealing, manipulating, murder, and sending countless people to their deaths.

I love how the Reaniman wraps Omniman's cape around his eyes 0:36, it shows they're still capable of thought and coordinating their attacks as a group. He's trying to bring Omniman to the ground so the others can help him fight.

1:01 He saw Omni man break his comrades neck and immediately tried to do the same to Omni man. These guys, despite being dead, are a lot smarter then I think most people give them credit for

I like how he’s only ever slowed and annoyed by the reanimen. They can’t actually stop him, or damage him, but they slow him down.

I love how Cecil is always aware of how morally grey a lot of the stuff he does is but does it anyway, He’s like the personification of “the lesser evil”

Judging by his reaction to them beating on them, this is the equivalent of trying to walk from one end of a pool to the other while someone is constantly splashing water in your face. It's not gonna stop you, but damn, is it annoying as hell.

I love how the way the Reanimen move is inhuman and disturbing as fuck. They're really setting up Cecil being a bastard by using them.

I think that part of omni mans genius comes from his fighting style, he literally only uses the bare minimum strength to actually fight someone.
He KNOWS he has strength to give at any given moment.
He sure does like to use more speed than necessary to give an air of terror, but knowing nolan this is all a very well thought out intimidation/information game.
He NEVER reveals his full hand unless necessary and you can tell that cecil doesn't actually know if anything CAN kill him because he never gives an ounce of info on his real level of strength.

They definitely caught him off guard with their savagery end lack of care for their own bodies when they were just literally doing everything they could to kill him as fast as possible usually things are afraid of him if they have the ability to feel fear they can’t really harm him. There’s no blood drawn in anything that they do. But they were just so relentless It took him a sec.
