Mine just Shows the apple logo, Shuts off then the logo comes back and then it shuts down and repeats the process. I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE

thanks!!! for anyone using an external display, you won't see the popup options unless you close the lid of the laptop. i spent hours trying to figure out why i was only seeing a blank dark grey screen (and sometimes the apple toolbar) until i closed the lid and then the external display disconnected and then connected again to show all the options

I installed Bug Sur and it’s stuck on the login part I put my password on and then I have the loading bar on, it then just repeats in a loop what do I do??? Please help me I have online classes and I’m panicking 😥😥😥😥😥

Re-installing the OS worked for me. It freaked me out as it would keep restarting over and over again. First Aid didn't do anything. It took like 2 hours or so to download and install although my WiFi connection is not bad at all. Anyway, finally problem solved

I have a similar problem where instead of just showing the apple logo, it keeps saying my computer restarted because of a problem

(My MacBook froze so I tried restarting it, now I can open it at all and it's been like this for 2-3 months)

For anyone that this didn't work for try this. Restart hold down option the whole time. It will give you an option to choose a hard drive to boot from. Choose your local drive not the installer.
