The 2.11 version of the Awakening of the Rebellion (AOTR) mod has been released! The 2.11 version of the Awakening of the Rebellion mod’s main introduces a lot of new changes in both mechanics and game balance. We'll cover some of the important changes in this video! Awakening of the Rebellion is one of, if not the BEST mods for Star Wars Empire at War! Awakening of the Rebellion is an overhaul mod for the classic Star Wars Empire at War RTS. The mod overhauls the games ground battles, space battles, economics, event system, and more. It’s almost like it’s a whole new game. In this playthrough, we’ll be playing as the GALACTIC EMPIRE attempting to crush the puny REBEL ALLIANCE and the BLACK SUN criminal organization! Will we succeed? or will the Rebels defeat us? Thank you for posting this. I just noticed by chance there was an update. I just fired it up to mess around for a few hours and see the 2.11 screen. Now that I got a general idea of the changes I'm going to go crush a rebellion.

Weather effects are now a danger because they removed all the planets buffs that make weather not effect you.

The ending music where Kagome is walking along, looking so sad. I can imagine that's during the period where she and Inuyasha were separated.

This mod has come so far from when I first saw shack play it’s insane, this like small old game was transformed into arguably one of the best rts games definitely the best Star Wars one, props to the devs for working with this game for so long, I have hundreds of hours in and the fact this mod is free is insane, this feels like it should be a 40 dollar dlc in a paradox game, props to all you mod devs for working so hard and creating something so cool, gonna have a lot of fun with the new map!

In prior versions, i would create choke points to keep enemy fleets from striking behind my battle lines.

Can't do that with the new gigantic map.

The credit reduction for rebels is a bit of an issue for me too. Taking so much time to save up to just build a single cap ship

Just read though the notes myself, and i detect a couple lines of SASS. (guess people where complaining too much about Uri Fen not having beserk and IG 88 not healing droids).

Other then that the Biggest change would be the removal of Carrier Variants, I liked that feature. But hay, the AI should make more interesting fleets now and TO BE FAIR the Variants where kinda redundant since most Advanced Fighters/Bombers can be recruited as Independent squadrons.

As a supporter of the Empire i have found that the early game is much easier, you have access to rich planets very very early with 1000+ credits each, which are (Agaaru, Candrila, Foerost, Corusant, Aldaran, Borlias, Chandrila, Vulpter, Ralltiir, Ord Ibanna, Aridus, Malastare, Kessel, Cantaris, Denon and Bastion (16 plantes) and you can put money problems aside, it's crazy how much money you can have so early its like 26 k alone frome these.

The AI certainly does like their fighters now. Rebels hit sullust in my campaign with 3 MC80s and 42 xwings 😂

With changes to carriers and Rebel money earning, there's a real danger that the Alliance gets put on a struggle bus in this update.
