How to Add Your PS2 Games Collection to PCSX2-Qt

I assume you already have your own ps2 games. Please do not ask me where to get illegal roms.

A simple tutorial on how to make a games list/add a games folder to the new PCSX2-Qt
PCSX2 Version - pcsx2-v1.7.2775-windows-64bit-AVX2-Qt

PC Specs:

I think a lot of people are missing the part where you HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE GAMES! A quick google search and then unzipping the files is the part before this. (Can’t show bc games are copyright). After that, this guide is great!

You're forgetting the crucial step on how to download the games. We just don't have games sitting on our desktop

I don't have OldNewExplorer anywhere on my computer, yet when I try to have it access the directory in any way, shape, or form, it literally freezes and becomes unresponsive to the point where I had to keep closing out manually.

Help. I am trying to get PAL Gran Turismo 4, and I already have USA GT4 and PAL GT3. I want PAL GT4 because there are more songs, and it is more challenging. My problem is that every time I try to add it to the game list, it does not pop up. I can play it by directly launching the file, but I want to install chaser cam patches, which I can't do because the instructions require it to be in the game list. Please help.

I have a asus rog ally and i play normally and download normally ps2 games... the only problem i have its that the game list dosent show. I have to search the game every time i want to play it

So I got the game from the place I got it last time and I know it worked but for some reason, it won`t appear with my other games and when I click on the start file and on the game it works just fine.

how do i fix Failed to create render device. This may be due to your GPU not supporting the chosen renderer (Vulkan), or because your graphics drivers need to be updated. Failed to read shaders/vulkan/tfx.glsl.

This must be like a secret group thing because I can not figure out how to do any of this. I extracted the game file through winrar and I still cant find the game through the pcsx2 application. This goes without saying the games are unplayable

Can you add games to this list manually? The scan ignores some ISO files for some reason, yet they work perfectly fine if you open them manually.
