Why Minecraft's New Dimension would be TERRIBLE News...

Minecraft's New Dimension in The Wild Update might just be coming, and here's why it could be terrible news.

I Look and SOLVE Minecraft's new 1.19 update with the new music disc 5 and how it sounds like portal to a new dimension. The Minecraft Ancient City and The Warden were announced in Minecraft Live 2021 and since the Mojang have hinted at a new 4th Dimension with the Ancient City Portal / Deep Dark Portal, Disc 5 and other factors. Here's why Minecraft's 4th Dimension could be a Mistake. Not Minecraft SMP like Lifesteal SMP and Risen SMP

I hope the new dimension has a lot more new sculk mobs. At least have a infection system for variant mobs. Like sculk villagers that are hostile and zombies and creepers and skeletons. Ect.

Give me some Lovecraftian realm. I want it to feel vast and make me feel insignificant. I want it to feel dark and twisted. I want it to be filled with lore shit. I want it to feel like you are never safe and the dangerous in there should scare the shit out of me and make all children cry and traumatized to the point parents are gonna complain. I want it to fuck with me, fucking send me through a maze of indestructible shit where the paths change and shift and shit is chasing me. Okay I got carried away. Just make it esthetically cool, meaningful, have new gemicks and new mobs/boss

You could hear a roar in the disc when they open the portal similar to the ender dragon roar you hear when you activate the end portal

it could be a post game dimension where you have to be very well equipped to survive there and give you a challenge when you are too powerfull for the rest of the game and very good rewards, not just in better tools and armor but something like the elytra, some interesting usefull item, redstone components, funny ridiculous stuff, and a lot of cool Building blocks.

I think it would be cool if they implemented something where it would take extra steps to get to the end. I think that would make the game more fun to play and would bring speedrunning to a whole other level.

Perhaps the 3rd dimension can be some kind of Post Game. Here is an idea. To light the portal, you have to kill all 3 bosses (the Elder Guardian, the Wither, and the Ender Dragon) and they all would now drop a new material of some kind. Probably something skulk related. After getting all 3 of the new material you can use a crafting table and combine a flint and steel with the materials and get a special type of flint and steel that you can use to light the portal. Idk what could be on the other side though.

Like maybe after you beat the game only then can you work towards beating this new dimension

the nether wasn't originally necessary to beating the game, actually, it was moreso a place to get infinite lava, a block that could burn forever and glowstone. the end was only added because 4J wouldn't let notch release the game that didn't have an ending, thats why the ending of minecraft is so lazily named, it was kinda more out of spite. a generic ending to a game that doesn't need an ending and naming it the most laziest thing "the ender men" in the "end dimension" where you fight the "ender dragon"

think about this:
the ocean monument only exists to make sponge (a block that has existed for ages) obtainable

the desert well literally does nothing

the villages were originally added just for there to be some life in the game, there was no trading

and things not tied to the rest of the game? the end arguably isn't tied to the rest of the game at all, and only became something that you actually WANTED to do since the elytra was added, before then, there was no point.

it IS a stupid argument to mention how it would affect speedrunning. do ocean monuments affect speed running? illagers?

why would you want MORE stuff tied to beating the game? I honestly hate how completionist minecraft is becoming. the goals in minecraft are meant to be arbitrary, have any of you even watched the old minecraft trailer?

First of all, just because it’s a portal doesn’t mean that we must be able to access the other side. Things can exist in the lore without being accessible in the actual game. An example of this just so happens to be a 4th dimension. A developer once confirmed that there is a dimension in the lore that endermen go through when they teleport and where the endermites come from. There’s no need for the player to go there, besides, it’s probably just barren wasteland with a bunch of endermites, so it’s inaccessible in the actual game. Plus, I’m pretty sure a dev once said on Twitter that they’ll only add a new dimension once the other dimensions, more specifically the End, are updated. In addition, if it is a portal, then why is reinforced breakable at all? Also, that sound you pointed out in Disc 5 is literally just a warden. It’s extremely similar to a warden’s roaring noise and we hear it right after a sculk sensor noise, and before we hear the sculk sensor noise we can hear a bunch of sculk shriekers screaming. Plus, it’s heavily implied in post on the official Minecraft Twitter account to be a warden.

Good video, but when I originally looked at the title and thumbnail, I was expecting you were going to argue that there shouldn't be a new dimension, and while I'm glad you didn't, the title just feels like clickbait now, because you're not arguing that there shouldn't be a new dimension, you're arguing that it just needs to be done right.

It could actually be cool if it served as an extra ending to the game, like, beating the dragon would be just finishing the game but going to this new dimension and beating its (much tougher) boss would count as the 100%. It would be avoided by any% speedrunners but would be cool as an endgame treat!

if you thinkl about it, this dimension will be useless, because probablly the ancient builders couldnt build there, that means there will be no structures, only skulk, which you dont wanna live in, not even transportation will be usefull in that dimension
