Waterman Ink has always been my go-to ink for vintage fountain pens.

I have Intense Black, Serenity & Mysterious Blue, and Audacious Red. They are my 'safe' inks, particularly for vintage pens, but are all beautiful in their own right.

100% I’ve been happily using these inks since the 90’s

Great overview! I couldn't help noticing "Intense Black" is missing from your video. This is an excellent performing ink and one I use as a benchmark in many modern and vintage models.

Absolutely agree with you Emy, brilliant ink for so many reasons. Shading is very important to me. Thanks for the review x ❤

Hi. One of the greatest inks, truly safe and reliable. My Montblanc 149 loves Serenity blue. 🤗 cheers from Australia.🦘

I carry only the Serenity Blue right now, but see your point in the demonstrators ...! Thanks for the more colors review!

Nice one, although would have helped if the camera was closer to the paper to get a better view of the shades. Have started with Mysterious Blue and loving it, probably going to try the Harmonious Green next

Why does everyone in the comments have only Serenity Blue and Intense Black? I don't even use them anymore. I use Inspired Blue and Harmonious Green constantly. Nearly all of my pens are vintage flex and these shading inks show off line variation beautifully, are more beautiful generally, have gorgeous sheening, and they clean out much more quickly than the much more saturated Serenity Blue and Intense Black.

Great video. I have Serenity Blue and Intense Black, but I've only been using them for vintage pens. You've convinced me to share the love a little more. I think I'll ink up my clear Pilot Custom 823 with Waterman's Intense Black. That should go nicely with the black finials.

I have absolute brown which is beautiful. I filled three journals with it. It cleans very well with just pkain water. I might get mysterious blue next.

Serenity Blue is my default ink to test any fountain pen 😊

Do waterman inks tend to get lighter on the paper as the time passes ?

Thank you for bringing these great staple inks to attention ! 😊

Waterman Violet Tendresse (Tender Purple) has always been my choice number 1 ink ! I absolutely love it. It's deep, it
It seems to me that in the last 5 to 10 years, the colour shifted a little bit from more reddish purple to less reddish purple, but it's subtle and it has always been my favourite purple anyway. I wonder if it happened when they changed the design on the outer packaging.

Vert Harmonie is a second favourite.

The turquoise is a little too light for my taste, I tend to prefer Lamy turquoise, or Iroshizuku Kon Péki.

I have to test again Mysterious Blue - it didn't whow me when I used it years ago, but after seing your vidéo, I have to try it again !!!!

Thanks for the video, I acutally didn't know that there were three different blue inks from Waterman (Inspired Blue, Serenity Blue, Myterious Blue).

I managed to track down an absolute brown to complete the set. I wish Waterman did more colours, their price/performance is amazing.
