I love Tender Purple, but you're right about purple ink bleeding easily. I have purple ink that will go right through Tomoe River 68gsm. Dark green inks are next in bleedability. Naturally, purple and green are my two favorite colors.

Have it. Love it! Actually, it's one of five Waterman inks that I currently have in my collection. Great inks! J. Herbin Poussiere De Lune IS my favorite though, when it comes to purple!!

A beautiful hue, Cathy, & very redolent of my Purple Wisteria plant, which has gone ballistic over an entire section of my front fence (also climbing the walls & onto the portico that shields my front door; it is a behemoth :D I think I'll have to purchase this delightful ink, post haste. Wonderful overview - Thank you !!
Best,
Andrew :)

This is a great ink. It's interesting to see how the color shifts a bit depending on the nib used. Thanks for featuring it.

Like Waterman inks: have tried Serenity Blue and Tender Purple which gave me a nice green sheen on my Midori tomoe river refill; think my favourite purple is still J Herbin Larmes de Cassis tho’:)

I agree. The 3776 in medium is a great writer. With some inks like Kobe 19 I don't feel the feedback.
Waterman inks are very affordable and good for daily writing.

Waterman Serenity Blue and Iroshizuku Yama Burp are my go-to inks for testing new pens but Serenity Blue is boring to me. Tender Purple looks GORGEOUS; maybe I'll switch to that!

Haven't seen your Pilot 95e in your video's lately. Do you still like it or have it? Do you prefer the Sailor pro gear slim and twsbi mini's over it now?

What can I do if the ink dries? In a meeting, I wanted to use my pen but I couldn't write because the ink was dried. I pumped a little to help the ink flows. People looked at me when I was doing this and I was ashamed that my pen not functioned properly. How can I assure that my ink pen is going to function at all times when I need to use it in front of others?

Waterman inks continue to amaze me.
Some time ago we discussed the difference between Kaweco's gold and steel nibs. You were saying that your gold nib wrote smoother than the steel nib. And I was saying that the tip was the same in both types of nibs. Here is the answer, from Michael Gutberlet, CEO of Kaweco, the gold nibs are checked one by one by a person, there is a manual process in the making. The CEO has announced in an interview to Appleboom that they have jointly developed a premium steel nib with their supplier. From the first tests, they are even smoother than the gold nibs.
