Black inks can have a hint of blue, purple or green depending on how they darkened the pigment. It can also be purely black

Currently use the Diamine Onyx Black, although when it runs out, I will give a try on Sailor black.

I am not going to say that it’s not on me because I don’t really know a great lot or anything at all about Inc but I personally definitely cannot spot the lightest end of a difference

I don't believe they are all the same. And I've been trying them since the early '90's.

I only use black ink and my favourites are by Sailor and Montblanc.
