I have adopted 7 dogs in 30 years, I loved them all and still miss them. 1 year ago I adopted Xayah. She is a siberian husky and I must be honest, I never considered getting a husky because where I live it gets very warm in the summer. Anyway, when I heard the story about Xayah, she was 10 months old at that moment and when I saw her picture I fell in love immediately. The first months were really challenging, she had a severe anxiety issue and a lot of other stuff as well. Giving up on her was never an option but I must tell you that she tested my patience many times. Now, I can tell you that I have a best friend in her and she is my soulmate. It was worth it, all the effort, all the tears, everything because now she pays back with unconditional loveand crazy moments which make all of us smile. You have helped me a lot with your advices. The only thing I feek I must say is... Do not get a husky if you can not spend enough time with them because they suffer when they are not with their guardian..

Love your Husky dudes and your commentary, , cracks me up. 👍 We in England don’t get much really hot days, but I used to have a fridge in my garage which I layed on it’s side and prop the door open. My old Mia, absolutely loved that. My friends thought this was cruel when I said my Dog sleeps in a fridge. They don’t understand Huskies. Very early and late long walks when it does get hot. My old Mia also loved a little dab of Vaseline or petroleum jelly every morning (Advice from her breeder) This made her fluffy coat beautiful and really helped with excess malting. No Husky owner should wear black clothes? Love you Amazing Husky and hug them for me, and you. : )
