Not all the cats shown here are Siberians. But doesn't matter. A cat is a cat. Wonderful creatures.

Stray adopted me 3 years ago. Huge, 18 lbs. DNA shows Mainecoon, Siberian & Ragdoll are dominant. Velcro cat. Meows & trills but never during night. Big gentle goofy love bugs. Gets along well with my 2 other cats and 2 house bunnies. Love my faithful boy.

So much misinformation. Some cats in the video are not Siberians. They are not vocal at all. They are easy to train. They are known to like other animals and are not as happy as only cats. Good breeders have their cats checked for genetic Cardiomyopathy and Polycystic kidney diseases. I am allergic to cats but not to my Siberian.

I never considered purchasing a kitty from a breeder. We rescued ours from my backyard when she showed up 12 years ago. Checked with ASPCA and 5 local vets, it turned out no one was looking for her. After about 3 months of being outside, we took her in and are happy with our Siberian. Though when she means "no", it needs to be respected.

Mine is half Siberian. A more lovely lady cannot be found. Grooming her is a bit of a hassle. She is affectionate, tactful, yet independent.

Bought one 6 months ago. Such nice cat he is whit me everywhere. He is out in a leach, riding in a stroller. Car rides whit me to work somedays. Oo yeas he love when its colder. But I live in Sweden not a big problem. So in 3 weeks another siberian kitten is arriving at home. They realy needs a friend to play whit. A bath them only the behinds because sometimes shit stucks in their fur 😂. Other then that you dont need to give them a bath.

these are lies! i have two siberian cats, the older one is 14yo and i grew up with him since i was 10 and he taught me that they are the best cat breed that i ever had. in fact, last year i adopted another siberian cat and i can confirm that they show constantly what true love is. Both of them are clingy, smart and sleep with us every night, they always look for us for cuddles and they’ve always been healthy. Don’t say stuff like that without correct informations.

My sibby doesn’t make much noise at all! She’s only 1 years old tho. And we have a dog and her litter mate brother comes almost every day for play dates. But she’s so quiet. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Only reason to not get a Siberian is because someone you live with thinks the 5 you already have are enough.

Seriously tho, i dont know anyone who's got a Siberian who hasn't adopted at least another 1. They are such amazing, caring, super cute, well temperamented breeds with good genes.

As a person with human polycystic kidney disease (and my own kidney transplant) it was important not to have a cat with the same disease. Any reputable breeder will have screened their studs/queens for HCM and PKD which should reduce or entirely eliminate the chance of passing those diseases on to their kittens. Also, you can test for Fel d1 levels in the saliva to determine allergen levels. This video has a lot of scare-mongering and inaccurate information about siberians. Not sure I understand the angle.

Adopt??? Are you kidding me, Siberians are hard to find and very expensive. You're not going to find them in a shelter. Find a breeder and expect to shell out handsomely. These guys aren't cheap.

Please dont share false information. Imagine owners just got those cats then they see this video and thinks everything is true about this. Siberian cats are an amazing breed and are not diffucult pets. All i would day is true is that theyre expensive but the rest is completely false.. (sorry for english)
