You hear that you're supposed to eat prior to a workout but what if your workout is at 5AM? Here are my suggestions for those who need something in their body before a workout:
- Eat something light like half a fruit or a protein shake that consists of just protein and water. I recommend to my clients that they drink half on the way to their workout and finish the other half during their workouts.

If eating any food before your workout makes you sick regardless of what it is, just don't eat before your workout. It's not worth it.

Additional tip: Drink coffee before your early workouts. It's a good way to warmup your body and get you going!
