In my opinion, call me crazy if you like, any OS, Windows or otherwise, should ONLY get a major version IF the kernel is SIGNIFICANTLY different. Window dressing is not cause for a major version. An entirely new kernel is. Is Windows 11 an entirely new kernel? No, really, I'm asking in earnest. IS there any significant kernel-level change here? Can I finally delete a file properly in software and immediately create a new file with the same name without the OS throwing a weird error because it's protecting a non-existent file that it is internally struggling horribly to remove for reasons unfathomable when so very many prior kernels just immediately deleted the file without a web of lies to cover up inexplicable delays? For example.

0:42 I still use the rectangles option on my taskbar. First thing I do on any computer is go to taskbar settings and disable combining taskbar buttons. That way I can switch between different folder windows with a straight single click and I can see the name of the folder on the button. I don't see the point in having unused space on my taskbar.

Window snapping changed my life originally, this snapping is going to be great at work to keep track of lots of stuff on one screen. This just made ultra wides worth it in my eyes.
