I would say this isn’t as bad as it seems since it seems they’ve made different batches with white code cards and black code cards, so that should keep them random if they kept the thickness of each eh same

Incase anyone didn’t notice, the blister bundles ect have random selection of code cards Color’s.

As you can see in this video there were black code cards at the start of the video (which weigh less) and white code cards at the end of the video (which weigh more). You would think that this fixed the problem with weighing packs because ultra rares will get lighter code card and non hits will get heavier code cards to make weighing impossible…..

This is wrong, and that’s because if you buy a BOOSTER BOX of scarlet and Violet, all of the code cards are the same colour which means all the codes weigh the same and you can weigh the packs to pre determine which packs have hits and which don’t.

Honestly, i think people are freaking out a little more than they should be and this just proves it. I've seen people opening stuff and talking about the rotating code cards which is smart cause the codes dont tell you if the pack is good or nor and they make it so when you way them a heavy isnt a guarentee.

Loved the purpose of the video and loved the video overall... But I personally hate when people treat the cards like trash from the start of the video. There's people that can't even afford a trading card pack... And here on youtube there's many many channels that toss them, trash them, brake them, etc. etc you name it... That takes away the fun from a video.

I believe pokemon TCG has given up on pack weight issues, check all of our last sets...all weighable.

Hmm... I really thought having 2 reverse holos and a holo in every single pack would've fixed this problem. It's not that bad tho, I would say they are improving.

It does not need to be fix … that’s what really makes it a mystery and nothing is really guaranteed nothing .. so I don’t see where on the box or any where on the pack where it says 1 holo or anything guaranteed guys when people can weigh then can get a booster box take the good packs then sale the cheap light packs for 2000 example baseset so people think they getting. Base set Charizard and get nothing not knowing the weigh it better

One would think pokemon co would have figured out a way to solve this issue. Weighed packs kills the aftermarket community.

I think the code cards play a role. If these were all from the same booster box, you may have seen that all the code cards are the exact same in booster boxes. Here you weighed some with black border and some white border code cards which play a role in weighing the packs. Would be interesting if you repeat this again but this time all the packs from a single booster box. Most of the other weighing videos did booster boxes so the code cards were consistent

I havent tested it but from what ive seen the white and black code cards are weighed differently. When you buy a booster box you will get the same codes in every pack so its not randomized which would of solved the issue if my theory of the codes being different weight. I have seen multiple examples of booster boxes opened and lined up according to weights from light to heavy and it had zero mistakes of not having a hit after the certain threshold of weight. These 6 pack bundles have different color code cards which I believe is why the white is heavier than the black. I could be totally wrong just based on what ive seen ive crafted this theory.
