The bottom drawer of the oven makes so much sense now. My sister made cupcakes yesterday and failed to even attempt to put them away. My grandma decided she was gonna put them in the oven so they wouldn’t get eaten/sat on by bugs. She assumed that everyone was trained to check the oven before using it. This morning my mom told me I should make an apple crisp. The directions say to preheat the oven so I did. Halfway through the preparation. My mom asks where the cupcakes were. I thought they were in the fridge. Apparently she had put them in the oven. She told my mom and then the cupcakes ended up crystallizing and my sister was mad.

the drawer in ovens isnt a “warming drawer” thats just a specific feature in a specific oven. the reason the drawer is on most ovens is to store pots and pans.
