Fun fact, (learned this back in my 5th grade social studies class) money is not actually made of paper from trees. I had to look some of this up, but its made of a special paper made of 75 percent cotton and 25 percent linen.

Odds are those shoes are not worn outside the factory, as they're clearly covered in soap residue. They probably put them on as soon as they enter the room, so the shoes are essentially clean, having only ever stepped in the soap making room.
