Thank you all for 10K 🎉 hope the growth continues, and that my videos have been helping you level up 💪🏽💯 - leave a comment below (I’ll do my best to reply, even if a bit delayed!).
I feel like the concepts in this video are pretty straightforward, but it’s the simple things that work best - and sometimes we either aren’t aware of them, or we just need a reminder to get back on track - so thanks for watching and I hope it helps xx

I really like the idea of pregressively overloading your own attention span, havent seen that in any other video. Great tips, thanks a lot!

I'm procrastinating by learning how not to procrastinate... D:

After watching more than 50 vids about how to be productive, how to focus, how to end procrastination, how to make to do lists, how to achieve goals, how to study efficiently blablablabla. You are the only single person, like i am being serious, ONLY single person that gave tips that are different and actually usefull. As a person who cant finish more than 2 tasks from to do list and cant focus more than 3 hours in entire day, I managed to make 8/12 tasks from my to do lists, and studied 5h 25mins with actually understanding it. Thank you so much bro, thank you. Just came to thank you before sleep. I appreciate you.

For years, I’ve followed a routine of studying for an hour and taking a 15-minute break, which I engage in activities like knitting or playing drums. This method has helped me cope with stress and manage my ADHD, providing a valuable balance to my academic efforts :D

Its very weird to see someone casually drop information I've learned over months on my own in a 5-minute video. Definitely subbing

The fact that you casually rickrolled us 💀

Thank you for making a 5 min video and not a 5 hour 30$ book

Hey man incredible video. I’m an animation student which is an entirely different field but this brings so much clarity as to why I can have days where I sit down in the studio and work for a timed 12 hours and burn through work. (Anybody reading this please do not think this should be the norm for any job, I just really really love what I do and I can assure you I am the only one where I am that is thrilled to do that much work- healthy balance of work life and relationships is paramount and you will have lived a more well rounded life than I).

Best of luck with med school! Thank you for this!

Thank you for the advice that doesn’t just rely on “getting rid of distractions” because I often get distracted pacing in circles around my room for hours, or just sitting there and being lost in my own thoughts. I can get rid of my phone, but how do I get rid of those other distractions? Chopping off my legs? Popping out my brain?

I love how your videos are concentrated on the most important things, so they aren’t unnessesarly elongated. I just started 2nd year of medschool and my focus is such a mess, I’ve never experienced something as intense as this one (even though I have trouble concentrating my entire life). I will try focus training and refocus meditation

Dude!!!! This video is insane. Although I’ve known all the technique you mentioned, I just implement it without understanding the basics. Your video is like a breakdown of the focus techniques and how they can link to each other. This really helps me a lot!! Great video! Thanks!

6 months later and you've replied to every single comment, I think that level of dedication deserves applause.
This was really helpful, thank you! <3

I’d like to add for ADHD (though I’m sure it has merit even for neurotypical people) an extra 5th tip: body doubling. Half the point of sitting in a library or cafe to study is body doubling, but even at home one can find ways online to study and complete tasks with others present. As a med student with ADHD, _this_ was the game-changer for me, though I have to agree that I need to get back onto refocus meditation since I’ve been lazy with it but it was also very effective when I practiced it
