just got a "broken" R100 M3 (only lcd replacement) for like 40$ and together with the repair the total cost was like 100$. Literally the best camera purchase I've ever made so far

Have had mine (v1) since bought new when it came out. Always have it as a back up but recently noticed the battery got flat quickly and it felt warm. So after charging battery in camera, I disconnected it from charger and after a few minutes it switched on by itself. Kept doing this for a bit, switch of and it comes back on! Assume it got warm whilst it came on in case and bag. Camera well looked after, never been wet, has about 5/6K actuations. Googled the problem and it’s not uncommon but none have fixed it themselves. Must be an internal component problem which most probably quite costly to fix. So now I just take battery/s out and insert one when I want to use it. Very nice camera, keep it in fine quality mono jpeg setting with an orange filter (Stick on) type.
