When I get massages post fast, I notice I get much more sure. It could be because of the dry fasting I am doing.

Days when I eat, my body requires more sleep vs days I am fasting.

It’s time to reintroduce avocados!

I spend some time volunteering this evening and it gives me anxiety.

Hi Mariah, yes, I want to watch your daily vlogs. It's like a multivit for my fast. I don't really comment often but your vlogs are what motivates me every day to go on. When I feel bored or think that I want to end my fast, I rewatch your videos. It gives me hope. I'm sure it does to other people.

Anyway, do you intend to water fast again? Until when are you going to refeed?

One thing that attached me to your videos is the very fact that u are down to earth, informative, up building, and motivational. Keep it up.

It really is a hard thing, I agree. I also agree it really is up to the parents to educate themselves and their children about exercise and nutrition. I also think nutritionists and dieticians should be readily available to the families struggling with these types of things. Then there’s some people thinking healthy food is more expensive than junk food. Also, convenience for some families. I’m not being judgmental either because I’ve been there myself. I chose to educate myself as well as my children so we can all have better lives and feel better about ourselves and comfortable in our own skin. I have three autistic children and one of the hard things my 12 year old came to me with is his weight and feeling uncomfortable with himself. After getting him on medication for his sleep disturbances and mood stabilization I’ve noticed he isn’t stress eating like he was. I also bought some meal prep containers and containers for portion control. I make all of his meals this way now and he’s also on a work out regimen he feels comfortable with. He has lost a good amount of weight and feels a lot better inside and out. It really shows through daily now how much of a difference it’s made in every aspect. My other two children are the opposite. I have a hard time getting them to eat even once a day and so I’m constantly worried about whether or not they are meeting their nutritional needs for development and growth. These things are so hard and complex especially when there is a developmental issue involved.
I enjoy your daily videos! I don’t think it’s too much or too little. I’m on day 5 of my fast. You definitely have helped keep me motivated. I’m doing my fast for health reasons, not just for weight loss, as my doctors keep telling me I’m too young for surgery and I refuse pharmaceuticals. My chronic pain has lessened A LOT. Thank you for your videos!!

I enjoy your videos and your youthful perspective. I am strict keto and I fast 48 to 72 hours weekly and have done one 6 day extended fast. I wish I would have known about keto when I was young, as I grew up overweight and had 2 overweight children, now adults (37 & 26). We never ate really "unhealthy", following the standard American diet guidelines (as I believe most families do), which has lead to the obesity and DM2 epidemics. I have most of my family converted to keto now, since I have lost 53 pounds and reversed my DM2. I still have 30-50 pounds to lose but I will let my body set my goal weight as I like to carry more muscle.
