Xbox could be twice as powerful as PS5 and it wouldn’t outsell it. You’re basically asking console gamers to really care about a brand that doesn’t care about them. If Gamepass and cloud streaming is appealing to you, you don’t even need an Xbox console to access it. The reason why games like EA FC 25 run better on PlayStation is due to the eSports scene being exclusive to that console.

You are in dreamland If you think the Series X can compete with PS5 Pro when it has vastly superior RDNA 4 tech, 1.5GB of extra usable memory for games plus hardware upscaling.

The Series X can’t even compete with base PS5 for ray tracing and this thing has 2.5 times the raytracing performance of that.

It is a real shame there is no Series X Elite as that really could have been something.

I won’t be ditching my Series X any time soon as I get free Gamepass ultimate but please don’t insult people’s intelligence like that.

What console generation were you paying attention to? That didn't start a year or two ago It has never started with Xbox outperforming the PS5. A game here or there outperformed it

You missed Alan Wake 2 as well which runs way better on Series X on performance mode possibly due to the use of mesh shaders.

I only got it on PlayStation because of the promised rain haptic feedback etc but they lied and it was never added to PS5 version anyway.

They have improved the performance a lot on PS5 since launch but have removed a lot of this such as reactive foliage in the process making the game less immersive.

MS is not going the way of Sega. MS is migrating to a platform without hardware. This migration will also be followed by Sony as well. Nintendo, which is a massive hit with parents and kids, will be the last console to lose a console form.
