Everybody was talking about how quiet and cool the Series X is like a month ago, but there are always people who want to stir up controversy. Just because it’s hotter than normal in one place doesn’t mean the thing is poorly engineered or will overheat easily.

I think this rumor only gained traction by journalists desperate to generate clicks, regardless of how unimportant or innocuous the news is. I’m not doubting it might be a hot console, but I highly doubt the console will produce enough heat to be disruptive.
