Oh no, but they have no problem with real criminals defrauding them on $250K in real estate scams/fraud

The bank manager said “we can refuse business to anyone for any reason”. 😡 That tells me they aren’t sorry. I would definitely sue them!

Don’t do business with them. I suggest finding a good credit union instead.

Someone in that bank needs to be held accountable and fired immediately. The manager, the tellers, I don't care.

I wrote two big checks (30k total) to my contractor which he banks at Chase and was denied deposited into his business account. I had to call to verify that it’s a legit check and I authorized them to not put a hold on it. What a joke Chase bank!

An apology isn't good enough! This should have never happened. Unfortunately, we still have jealous idiots who don't want to accept that some of us are highly successful, educated, and blessed.

This happens all the time but I get a feeling jealousy might have also played a role in this. She is stunning

If you want this to stop, stop banking at Chase. Close all accounts with them. See how fast it stops.

Chase is full of it. Racial profiling is a business practice of theirs from the other stories I have heard and watched on youtube. Forget Chase and put your money in a credit union.

Don't you just love these big companies that promise how their diverse and don't discriminate but then they're the first ones to discriminate and throw discrimination

That right Dr. Mitchell, If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything, MAY THE HAND OF GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY, Thank you for the Encouragement

There is a clear established pattern of racism by Chase.

This is really sad that people are this narrow minded. It's not their business as to how she gets her money as long as she has proof it is legit and meets the bank criteria. The tellers are there to serve, not to judge. Otherwise they'd be judges instead of tellers. Do your own job and stop trying to be judge, jury, , prosecutor, and tell all in one. Leave that' to HP printer's.

This is ridiculous. I remember when my daughter was born 11 years ago a family member gave me a check for 5k. I wanted to open a savings account for my daughter and the banker asked me where did I get so much money from! It was crazy. I took my business to a credit union. I hope the dr wins her lawsuit.

I've seen stories like these before and it's terrible. If there was some kind of policy in place to refuse the check on a feeling then they need to put that in writing and not just do one thing for one person but not for another.

She was trying to give them $16, 000. They contacted her job, verified that she was indeed a doctor, and still refused her check?

So sad we still have racial profiling going on she’s such a beautiful calm and very poised DR. I wish her all the best in her career and life.
