Linnea… thank you. So glad I found you. There are things I've never done and never will. Vicariously you take me along and I thoroughly enjoyed it. In 1979 I broke my back and neck in a motorcycle crash so I'm in a wheelchair for 44 years. I'm not whining or complaining. I love life, and nature… thank you for making it accessible for me

Linnea, I just finished my 1.5 mile morning walk with my dog. I sat down and watched you and Akela. I was right there with you and it was wonderful! I’m 73 with some health issues so I will never experience the things you do, but I feel like I’m there when I watch! Thank you so much for sharing your travels. ❤

I will be 73 next week and I yearn for an experience in the wilderness with a marvelous dog and camper van. I've had a good life but yet there is more in me to travel and discover our beautiful country. The world is so misaligned. I pray that they will stop.think.before that act irrationally and disturbed. GOD provided us everything we need and we can embrace life as you discovered on this trip...not rushed, no chatter, no discontent. I pray for days ahead just like you shared. Thank you Linnea and Akela for sharing your joy with us. ❤

One woman with a dog and a few cameras, living in a tent, can create better content than Hollywood.

When I was 17yo..I told my Pentecostal parents...I did not want to marry or have kids..I wanted to travel...fast forward to 52yo, two marriages, two kids...I met a man...we sold everything, bought a motorhome and hit the road...26 states in 8 years... completed our bucket lists...COVID set back..today..this day..sold another house, bought a motorhome and hitting the road again... we're happy traveling .. you inspire my gypsy soul..thank you love

So emotional when this video ended…beautifully done. Great storytelling. Amazing visually. So proud of you and Akela. Your bond touches me as a fur mama of two. The last shot of you in the wilderness. So perfect. Autobiographical author shot. Seriously, your is so inspiring to hear and watch. Bravo! Truly Epic. -Kim

This is THE most badass video you've shared with us yet. How absolutely beautiful. It reads like an honest to goodness professional nature film. So excited to see more creations from you. Much awe and respect from the Anderson Clan in Florida!

I would say that so many of us women live vicariously through you. Would love to do the adventures you do but I’m much older now so love to watch your channel.

"It's preparation. Then commitment. Then adjustment." This struck me like a hammer in a good way because that's life in general, right? Because no matter how much you prepare, you have to be able to commit but also to adjust because things seldom turn out exactly as we've planned and prepared for. This video was AMAZING!! I feel like I always say that but truly, the sentiment is from the heart each time. I watched last night. Am rewatching as I prepare to head to my job while wishing I was preparing for a solo trek instead. The reemergence of the purple puffy jacket made me smile. The narration along with the video clips - it's just a perfect video. Thank you for taking us along on your solo trek.

Ok, I first saw this video 12 days ago. Since then, I have watched over 160 videos of Linnea’s content. Pretty much everything on her channel. This is the video that hooked me

i feel like this video should have way more views. the voice over is cinematic. this video also found me at the perfect time a year later when the world is FULL of chaos and i needed to hear someone else say and do the thing i so desperately need as well. wilderness and the earth the way it was intended. thank you for the beautiful words. i hope more people that need this find it.

Wow. You left the fish behind for a few seconds and Akela didn’t eat it. That respect.

After skimming the comments I realized there is nothing I can say to express my gratitude that you & Akela share these experiences. I’ve been in a deep dark hole for awhile now, but your adventures help me escape, if only for minutes. Thank you. ❤

When you put the right energy out into the universe, it responds in kind. You earned that visit from the moose.

Thank you so much Linnea, I’m in my 40s but trained in college to be a wilderness guide…now my back doesn’t let me backpack…we need woman like you to show other young woman that the wilderness is essential for our Wholeness as human beings. Have you ever considered leading woman’s wilderness trips? even just one a year would change lives. Gratitude for your courage and sharing~ 🦌🙏(I guess they don’t have a moose emoji )
