In this episode, Gary of Streamline Medical Group shares what he procures for the base food foundation for the 30/30/30 diet. He describes two quick food recipes for pre and post workout. Dana didn't bring me here. Lol. I have nothing against Dana. I like his straightforward way of speaking. Cauliflower rice tastes like cauliflower. It has zero resemblance to the flavor of rice. I like cauliflower; however, if I am craving rice, cauliflower won't do it. The green juices are delicious. I've had them a few times. Juicing daily is a pain in the ass! Frozen veggies are always soggy after cooking, and I prefer making my own mix; the vegetables have a crunch and are far more satisfying. Thanks for sharing. 😊

I used Orgain shakes for a while. The quality started to drop off severely, and we were getting whole cases that were congealed with chunks in them, sometimes smelling sour. MRE seems to be a better non-whey option for pre-mixed shakes. Also 40 grams per shake.

No wonder! I had no idea that Whey Protein did that! I knew something was up with it. You have people like Gabrielle Lyon saying it's the only protein to take. Thank you!! My trainer has been telling me what you said for a year!

This is a hard diet to stick to. The key is consistency of nutrition plan through being INCONSISTENT. allow yourself to eat things you like or you won’t stick to your nutrition plan long term. Chicken breast and veggies are hard to stick to long term and your nutrition plan needs to be something that is a lifestyle. Have a low glycemic sourdough cinnamon roll once in awhile, work out hard and move every day. Have a pizza night occasionally. Be consistent on your healthy nutrition 80-90% of the time and eat foods you like the rest of the time. Be flexible and have a long term, lifetime goal.

Some of these dietary recommendations are extremely high in oxalic acids. The almond milk, the green drinks of chard/celery/etc...the collagens. I do like the riced cauliflower suggestion and I also wonder what Gary thinks of a carnivore diet.

FYI....Carageenan is a seaweed dirivitive. Every single Thanksgiving Turkey you eat is injected with it. It retains water & Turkey is sold by the lb. Lol....I am a meat supplier. 😊

Hi, I've just found your channel, 12 hrs too late as I've just ordered Leanfit Whey Protein after hrs & hrs of research. Originally had the Vega Protein but the other was cheaper! Also, I'm confused - Soy Milk? Different from the other Soy?

Wouldn’t microwaving the food affect the nutrients? Soy milk..don’t you mean almond milk for the protein shake?
