Actually, Happy Birthday was pulled into the Public Domain in 2016 in a court case.

10+ years ago I once had a neighbor who left their wifi unprotected...at the time all I used the internet for was my xbox. I used their wifi for like 4 years or so until one day it vanished all together. Finally I had to cave in and pay for it. The best part was that I never lagged on their wifi.

It is illegal to marry a chicken in the county I live in.
Meaning, at least once, someone tried to marry a chicken here

The American flag law was actually ruled unconstitutional because it violated the first amendment.
Also you can argue if you're on a freeway where everyone is going 70 mpg and the speed limit is 55 mpg, if you get pulled over in the state of California you can argue that the minimum speed limit was above the maximum speed limit, and therefore you would be breaking the law no matter what. For this reason, police will usually only pull over someone who is speeding if they are weaving between cars or going noticeably faster than the cars around them. This is an argument to make in court, not to the officer.

Imagine trying to Rick Roll your friends and then go to jail for it.

Y'all need to do your research better. This is an excerpt right off the Happy birthday song Wikipedia page, "The song is in the public domain in the United States and the European Union. Warner Chappell Music had previously claimed copyright on the song in the US and collected licensing fees for its use; in 2015 the copyright claim was declared invalid and Warner Chappell agreed to pay back $14 million in licensing fees."

The strangest law I've heard of comes from a city in Wisconsin (I can't remember the name) but it's illegal to carry an ice cream cone in your pocket

No bike lanes in my hometown.
Yet it's illegal to ride your bike on the sidewalks.

In New York, the speed limit on limited access highways is understood to be within 15 mph of the posted speed limit. The troopers here would rather see traffic flowing nicely and everyone doing around the same speed limit than having one person going at or under the speed limit and it breaks traffic flow.

Just don’t go 80mph+ in a posted 65mph.

I had to tell my neighbour that their wifi kept connecting me and other neighbour's to it. They had no idea but thought their bill had been a bit high, thankfully she now has proper passwords and protection.

Question, if these were real laws, why haven’t we been told that they are illegal?

That last law about being drunk in public is true and fairly often enforced. A village pub in the village my dad lives in had a particularly rowdy Thursday last year. It's normally a quiet pub but the only decent one for young and middle aged people so it can get lively. Some neighbours called the cops, they came in and fined the owners and everybody inside the pub.

It racked up so much the owners had to sell a couple of months later, they were low of funds due to the pandemic (legal amount of people inside by the way) and it being a pub. But this fine was just too much! The new owners are nice enough but it's weird that this can happen because someone who decided to live next to a pub didn't like living next to a pub and it was after 11pm...

The one about Happy Birthday is out of date because the song was in public domain since 9/23/2015.
