I loved that sound she makes. So comforting and domestic, a sort of crooning. Although I don't know why she needs to make so much noise while brooding her eggs. Lovely footage!

that's a nice sound, she' making.some of us don't know why she's maiking that call, that call is to communicate with a guard guinea male.like in chickens the rooster clack silently to a hen as she lay her egg

i have one pair of this and my female.is near hatching but last night some dogs attacked but i reached and she is safe and now i have change the place where she layed.eggs now she is not.siiting on eggs what should.i do?

i like this call, i used to listen my hens when nestuing or laying eggs early in the season
and sometimes i do records and play them to call the males
