But he did read arguably more books than anyone ever.---from when the library opened until it closed, almost every day. Some of his favorites can be found in Books I Have Loved where he talks about many of them. Highly recommended

Me too a sanyasi of Osho since couple of decades, several times i have visited Osho Commune Pune and worked there in full time work as meditation program. I was worked there in several positions.
As you know osho said in his several discourses that he has read millions of books of others since his early childhood, but he never read any of his own book. He always used to say to journalists that he never read any of his own books, it is his lovers who write and compile his discourses given in time to time.
Once In the middle of the year 1989 i went to Lao t su house just to ask that i am going to my native place to meet my old parents, he suddenly said its ok but “wapas kab aaoge swamiji ?” i said “Guruji ghar banwana hai, bahut dino se parents kiraye ke ghar me rah rahe hain, thoda bahut idhar udhar se intzaam kar khud ka ghar banana chahte hain.” Osho said “ main kuch madat kar sakta hu?” i said “jee bas aapka aashirwad de de aur kuch nahi ”
He said ok and opened his drawer and gave me a book ‘The Rebellien spirit’, and said “yahi meri ek aisi kitaab hai jise maine aajtak padha hai, ise le jao tumhare kaam aaegi.”
I gracefully accepted and touched his feet.
There is a very beautifully signed and painted book by osho, in some pages he underlined some quotes.
Come to the point, 6 years before my house caught with fire due to electric shortcircuit and almost everything was burned, but thankfully that book was saved, and this holy and most precious book is available for right person/organization.

मैं भी दो दशकों से ओशो का संन्यासी हूं, कई बार मैंने ओशो कम्यून पुणे का दौरा किया है और वहां ध्यान कार्यक्रम के रूप में पूर्णकालिक कार्य किया है। मैं वहां कई पदों पर कार्यरत था।

जैसा कि आप जानते हैं ओशो ने अपने कई प्रवचनों में कहा था कि उन्होंने बचपन से ही दूसरों की लाखों किताबें पढ़ी हैं, लेकिन उन्होंने कभी अपनी खुद की कोई किताब नहीं पढ़ी। वे हमेशा पत्रकारों से कहते थे कि उन्होंने कभी अपनी कोई किताब नहीं पढ़ी, उनके प्रेमी ही समय-समय पर दिए गए उनके प्रवचनों को लिखते और संकलित करते हैं।

वर्ष 1989 के मध्य में एक बार मैं लाओत्से भवन सिर्फ यह पूछने के लिए गया था कि मैं अपने वृद्ध माता-पिता से मिलने के लिए अपने पैतृक स्थान जा रहा हूं, तब उन्होंने अचानक कहा कि ठीक है लेकिन "वापस कब आओगे स्वामी जी?" मैंने कहा "गुरुजी घर बनाना है, बहुत दिनो से माता-पिता किराये के घर में रह रहे हैं, थोड़ा बहुत इधर उधार से इंतज़ाम कर खुद का घर बनाना चाहते हैं।" ओशो ने कहा "मैं कुछ मदत कर सकता हूं?" मैंने कहा "जी बस आपका आशीर्वाद दें और कुछ नहीं"

उन्होंने कहा ठीक है, अपनी दराज खोली और मुझे एक किताब दी 'द रिबेलियन स्पिरिट', और कहा, "यही मेरी एकमात्र ऐसी किताब है जिसे मैंने आजतक पढ़ा है, इसे ले जाओ तुम्हारे काम आएगी।"

मैंने शालीनता से स्वीकार किया और उनके चरण स्पर्श किए।

ओशो की यह एक बहुत ही खूबसूरती से हस्ताक्षरित और चित्रित पुस्तक है, कुछ पन्नों में उन्होंने कुछ उद्धरणों को रेखांकित किया है।

बात पर आते हैं, 6 साल पहले बिजली के शार्टसर्किट के कारण मेरे घर में आग लग गई थी और लगभग सब कुछ जल गया था, लेकिन शुक्र है कि वह किताब बच गई, और यह पवित्र और सबसे कीमती किताब सही व्यक्ति/संगठन के लिए उपलब्ध है।

It's better not to buy osho's books because as he said he says according to his interiority in the present moment, and watching his videos are much more alive than the books.

Books also speak some truth as he once said, books are dead but they sometimes can give us hints towards the truth, a little is alive in them. So, watching is videos and feeling his silence in between is more alive and a better source than his books
